Today was the first signing I had done with Pete Rose in over a year. It took place at our Last Licks store in Massapequa. There is always a great turnout for Pete and today was no exception. He is accomodating to all fans by taking photos with everyone. We got some great new photos signed including a sepia tone 16x20 that even impressed Rose. Pete knows so much about the game so it is always educational talking with him. I learned today that Rose is the winningest player of all time. That means that, in games he has played, his team won more times than any other athlete. That is really amazing. The guy has so many individual achievements but he recognizes team winning as the most important end result. It is refreshing to hear that in this age of fantasy sports and individual statistics. Overall it was a great day and I am getting excited for the upcoming week. Tomorrow I am traveling to Pennsylvania to conduct a private signing with Steelers legend Jack Lambert.
