Steve Carlton - March 11th

I just got home from a public appearance with Hall of Fame pitcher Steve Carlton at our Last Licks store in Thornwood. The appearance went great. As usual Steve was awesome with the customers. I was researching his statistics yesterday and am amazed at what this guy has done in his career. In 1972 he had one of the greatest seasons a pitcher has ever had. Steve won 27 games and had an ERA of 1.97. He got the Triple Crown that year and really solidified himself as a baseball immortal. Aside from the stats Steve is a really interesting guy. He doesn't get excited talking baseball anymore but loves quantum physics and science. Overall it was a great day. I am already looking forward to next weekend's appearances and a few Allman Brothers concerts this week. We have Phil Simms, Mark Bavaro, Jaromir Jagr, Henrik Lundqvist and Petr Prucha all signing at our Last Licks stores. You guys should all come out. It will be a lot of fun.
