Barring a surprise signing in the next two days (which is always possible) this will be my last post until early next week. I am away for a long weekend and will not be at the Mets appearance on Saturday. I encourage you all to come out to see Darling, Straw, Keith, Orosco and Carter. I am definitely sorry to miss this one. It should be a pretty special day.
One thing that I do want to talk about is an important online charity auction we are having. It is for the Jerome Wagner Youth Residence for Boys. We, along with Family Services of Westchester, will help renovate two homes in White Plains, New York and provide teens with every opportunity possible to encourage their healthy development and future well-being. All of the proceeds from this auction will go to helping this great cause. There are some unbelievable items to bid on including an on-field experience at Shea Stadium.
