I just returned home from my trip to Atlanta. The signing went great. Hank came to see me several times over two days. He has so much going on and is so busy with his car dealerships that Aaron needs to spread a small signing out over a few days. It was great to see my friend and even better to rub it in about the demise of his Braves. I abused him for hours about the horrific team that he roots for. Hank did not even believe me that the Braves were actually 18.5 games behind the Mets. I ran out to grab a newspaper and highlighted the standings for him. He was shocked. I loved every minute of it. Overall it was a successful trip. I am already looking forward to our appearance with Hank in October. Hopefully the Mets are playing in the World Series at that point while Chipper Jones watches from his home.
