A few days ago I had the privilege of meeting Mets centerfielder Carlos Beltran. This was huge for me as I have started plenty of MVP chants at Shea this season. Beltran has had an amazing year breaking Mets records in many offensive category. He had 41 home runs and 116 RBIs and has become a real fan favorite. The guy has had his share of walk off moments including the game winning home run against the Phillies in the bottom of the 16th inning. I was glad to see that he is, in fact, a really good guy. I am so pumped to get to Shea tonight and watch Carlos tee off against the Cardinals. For those of you who dont recall it was against St. Louis that Beltran had that all time great postseason in 2004.
Carlos signed some great product including game model bats and a web exclusive collage 8x10 photo.
