Monday night four Giants players appeared at Last Licks in Thornwood. They all arrived to an enthusiastic crowd that was really pumped from Sunday's big victory. Strahan and Osi sat together and took photos with everyone. Each customer inquired about Michael's health and when his return will be. I have a feeling he will be back before all is said and done this season. It was great to see the interaction between Strahan and Umenyiora. Osi is definitely (if not already) the heir-apparent to Michael and it was awesome to hear them talk football. At the other table sat Jared Lorenzen and Jim Finn. Every week I am more amazed by Finn. He plays every down like it is the final two minutes of the Super Bowl. Jim and Jared took group pictures with a few kid's football teams. All four athletes were unbelievable with the kids that came out to see them. They seemed to really enjoy it. We got some incredible product signed by these guys. We even got some University of Kentucky product signed by Jared Lorenzen with some cool inscriptions.
This Saturday I will be back in Thornwood for an appearance with the Sack Exchange. Hope to see you all there. Then on Tuesday I am flying back out to South Bend for a signing with Charlie Weis. This time I will have a little more time to check out the school. I am hoping to see some of the team's practice for the upcoming bowl game.
