February 10th- Jake LaMotta

I just got home from our appearance at Last Licks Thornwood with the "Bronx Bull" Jake LaMotta. While the turnout was nothing to write home about (definitely due in part to the freezing weather) the customers that did come out were extremely passionate boxing fans. One guy drove up from Virginia just to get Jake's signature and trademark "Raging Bull" inscription on an old boxing magazine. LaMotta remains one of my all-time favorite athletes to do signings with. He has an unbelievable signature and will stay until the very end. The final sig is just as great as the first. He told me that work has begun on a sequel to the movie "Raging Bull" and seems really excited about it. We got some exquisite new product signed including "Raging Bull" 11x18 movie posters and a new photo of Jake fighting Jackie Wilson. The Wilson image is, by far, the clearest photo I have ever seen of LaMotta. It is awesome. I was also able to get a limited number of gloves and photos with the inscription "Ray, I never went down" (from the movie "Raging Bull") Those items came out incredible.
Tomorrow we have our big Rangers Greats show in Scarsdale. Hope to see you all there. Check back for updates.
