February 17th- Bryan Trottier, Clark Gillies and Mike Bossy

I just got home from our appearance at Hall of Heroes with Islanders legends Mike Bossy, Bryan Trottier and Clark Gillies. While I have done many signings with Gillies in the past, this was my first time meeting Bossy and Trottier. It's hard for even me to believe that I had yet to do signings with those guys (considering how many times we have had appearances with them) but I always seem to be on the road during Islanders appearances. Going into this signing I was praying that Trottier and Bossy were as cool as Gillies, Nystrom and the rest of the guys. If they weren't it would have made for quite a difficult day. I was glad to see that they were both awesome and so easy to work with. They loved taking photos and talking with the fans. As always it was a lot of fun to watch the interaction between the old teammates. Before and after the public appearance each guy signed items in private for us. We were able to get replica cups from each of the 4 championship years. I got some multi-signed as well as individual cups from each guy for every year. They came out unbelievable. Aside from some amazing new photos of each guy we found an image of Bryan, Clark and Mike standing together. They signed a limited number of these with two inscriptions from each guy. Bossy, Trottier and Gillies all flipped out for the new shots as did all the customers. I am really excited about all these new items and building up our already strong Islanders product line. These guys played on one of the greatest dynastys in sports history and deserve to be recognized as one of the top lines ever. Next weekend we have more Islanders signing at Last Licks Massapequa and Huntington. It provides a great opportunity for customers to complete team signed pieces they began today at Hall of Heroes.
Check back for a preview of next weekend's Islanders appearances as well as an itinerary of my next few weeks...wait until you see how crazy it is about to get.
