Early this morning I did a large (I always say small. This one was far from small) private signing with Red Sox current pitcher and icon Curt Schilling. The Sox are in town to play the Yankees so we did the signing at the team's hotel. I always marvel at how fast a signer Schilling is. I have never (and you guys know I do a ton of signings) seen anyone come close to Curt in that department. It almost took more time to get the product up to the 16th floor and back into the car than it did for Schilling to complete everything (Hotel elevators and rooms are not meant for cases of baseballs and boxes of jerseys to be brought in and out of. It is the nature of the business but it is always a battle) We got some incredible product signed including replica jerseys, mlb baseballs and a few black leather balls with the "04 WS Champs" inscription.
Tomorrow is our appearance at Hall of Heroes with one of my personal idols Magic Johnson. Magic rarely signs in public so it should be quite an event. The appearance is from 11:00-12:30. Hope to see you all there!
