Last Friday afternoon Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist came up to our office for a small private signing. Despite Henrik's playoff heroics the Rangers were eliminated by Buffalo earlier in the week. Lundqvist had been the hottest goaltender in the league since January. He was nothing less than spectacular throughout the playoffs (unfortunately sometimes it just doesn't go your way..Mets fans know this better than anyone!) Henrik was looking forward to going back to Sweden for a little while and even more excited about the Ranger's potential for next year. They are sure to be in the conversation when talking possible playoff contenders before the start of the 07-08 season. Lundqvist signed some great product including sticks, photos and some Eddie Giacomin "Jason" masks. The dual signed Eddie/Henrik Lundqvist masks have quickly become one of our best sellers and is a must-have for any Rangers fan. We were also able to get four game used playoff sticks from Lundqvist. He signed each of these and inscribed them "2007 Playoffs Game Used". It is a really cool item.
