I just completed a small private signing with Cubs manager Lou Piniella. Lou was pretty fired up after last night's devastating loss to the Mets. It made for great conversation as it doesn't take much to get him going. Lou really does seem to be loving Chicago (despite yesterday) He has a good young team that is just missing a few key pieces to the puzzle (relief pitching, another lefty hitter). I have no doubt that Piniella will make a contender out of them sooner than later. Lou signed some strong product for us including an amazing catch photo, replica Yankees jerseys and baseballs with the "Sweet Lou" inscription.
I will be at the Mets game against Piniella's Cubs tonight so hopefully I will be able to get some strong photos to post on here. Check back tomorrow for some cool photos as well as a preview of the upcoming weekend.
