I just completed a small private signing with the Mets' newest phenom Carlos Gomez (I told you guys that something else would come up this week). Gomez has been on fire since joining the team last week. He is batting a blistering .417 coming into tonight's game. Not only is Carlos killing it with his bat but he also has speed on par with that of Jose Reyes'. Anyway, we got some strong product signed including MLB baseballs, black leather baseballs and a handful of game-used balls. As a side note- I have started learning Spanish. I am actually beginning to understand a lot of it and am confident that I will be fluent within months. (Just figured I would throw that in there as I am proud of my progress so far). I will be at Shea tonight for the first game of the Subway Series. Then tomorrow we have Cleon Jones which will be then followed by Barry Sanders on Sunday. Hope to see you there!
