I just completed a monster signing with Red Sox ace Curt Schilling. It has become routine that when the Sox are in town I meet up with Curt for a private signing at the team's hotel. Schilling, who is pitching Wednesday, was in a great mood (as he should with his team having a double digit lead in the division). Boston has an opportunity to truly lay the gauntlet down on the fading Yankees in this three game set. Curt has played a huge role in the Sox early domination this season. He has four wins already and it seems that he has re-found his location and velocity.
I am really looking forward to watching Schilling on Wednesday as he always seems to have a little extra on his fastball when facing New York.
Tomorrow morning I am on the first flight out to Indianapolis where I will be doing another two-day signing with Peyton Manning. Check back for updates from Indy.
