I just completed a small private signing with Celtics legend John Havlicek. Hondo was awesome. We talked about the state of both the Celtics and Knicks throughout the entire signing. John even spent a few minutes abusing our tortured resident Knicks fan AD (which was, by far, the highlight of the day!). Anyway, Hondo signed some incredible product including inscription basketballs and several great images. Havlicek's signature is one of the best I have ever seen. It is so consistent and easy to read. The most interesting story John told came about when he was asked to inscribe HOF 1984 on a few basketballs. According to every website Hondo was inducted to the Hall of Fame in '84. However he was, in fact, a member of the HOF class of 1983 (He even showed me his ring to prove it) I thought that was pretty interesting.
