June 19th- Robinson Cano

After Saturday's Mets/Yankees game we had a public appearance with Yankees star (and Steiner Exclusive) Robinson Cano. As we all know the game ended pretty late. That was due to both the rain delay and the almost-comeback by the Mets in the 9th. Cano finally arrived at the store at about 7:15. Most people on line were understanding of the situation and greeted Robinson with handshakes and applause. Cano had an really strong game on Saturday with both his glove and bat. When an athlete appears after a game it usually makes for a better experience if the team wins (and if the appearer contributes to the victory). I have done appearances with guys that have lost the game for their team that day and it is somewhat of an awkward time for the fans. While the turnout was not as big as I would have liked it did make it a lot easier time-wise for Robinson to take photos with everyone.
We have a lot going on this week including a trip down to Tampa and a Chad Pennington appearance. Check back daily for updates.
