September 12th- Tiki Barber

Earlier today I did a private signing with Giants icon (and holder of every team rushing record) Tiki Barber. Tiki is currently working for NBC on both their Sunday night football broadcasts and the Today Show. He really seems to be enjoying life after football and is about to release his much-anticipated book. Tiki is one of(if not the) most intelligent athletes I have ever worked with. It is always interesting to spend time with him and discuss football and everything else imaginable. Just as he worked his way up to become one of the top running-backs in the NFL it is only a matter of time before he is considered one of the best journalists around. As a Giants fan it was extremely unsettling to watch them take the field on Sunday without Tiki. I think being here in New York kind of desensitized us to the fact that we had one of the top rushers in the NFL. It is always someone else's guy that is breaking records and is at the top of the game. Over the past few years we actually had that guy (for once) and he was able to leave the game on top and on his terms. Anyway, we got some outstanding product signed including Giants helmets, mini-helmets and a new awesome collage photo (in both 8x10 and 16x20).
Once the Barber signing was finished we began setting up for a small private signing with legendary Syracuse basketball head coach Jim Boeheim.
Check back later for a recap.
