Yesterday morning I headed out to New Jersey for a small private signing with the ace of the Yankees pitching staff Chien-Ming Wang. As you may remember Wang and I got pretty tight last year over the course of many signings and appearances. With this being our first signing of the year we had plenty to talk about. Since I last saw Wang he has become (no question) the ace of the Yankees staff. Even with Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte in the rotation he remains the most effective and consistent pitcher that they have. Wang is well on his way to 20 wins and should be starting game one of the ALDS (unless Detroit gets hot). Anyway we got some unbelievable product signed including jerseys, MLB baseballs and a new incredible exposure photo (in both 8x10 and 16x20). I was also able to get two three-foot bobbleheads signed with Wang's name in both English and Taiwanese. They look amazing and will be up on the auction site soon. As a side note I forgot to mention that Wang was down on my new shaved head look (told him it was a Mets thing and he wouldn't understand...he laughed)
On Saturday we have our appearance with Knicks legends John Starks and Anthony Mason at Last Licks Scarsdale. Hope to see you all there!
