Last Friday I met up with the young Yankees phenom Phil Hughes for a small private signing in Manhattan. Now that the season is over Hughes is about to head home for the winter. Despite the Yankees short-comings against the Indians, Hughes was a huge bright spot for the team. He was brilliant in relief and New York should be incredibly excited about his future. Over the forty-five minute signing Phil signed MLB baseballs, replica jerseys, Yankees pitching rubbers and some awesome game-used pieces. I have said this before but I must re-iterate- Phil Hughes is the real-deal and an absolute must-have for the serious Yankees collector.
