March 4th

First and foremost I hope you all have been enjoying the videos that we have been posting on here. I have received many emails with nothing but positive feedback on them and am extremely excited about this new direction. Ironically, as bored as I was in writing the blog going into 2009, I miss writing... so I am going to try my best to find a happy medium between the two.
These past few weeks have been a whirlwind (there will be some videos going up shortly). Since I last posted I have done signings with Gene Stallings, Magic Johnson, Derek Jeter, Joe Frazier, Phil Simms, Eli Manning, Henrik Lundqvist, Mike Richter and OJ Anderson...plus a public appearance with wrestling icon Shawn Michaels. In the middle of all those signings we have been cranking away at our office on exciting new deals (such as the Alabama/Steiner partnership...thus the Gene Stallings signing) as well as preparing for our move to a bigger, better facility which is going down in a few weeks.
One of the most exhilarating of our newest ventures is, by far, the Cowboys/Steiner partnership. Aside from an astounding array of game used jerseys, pants and locker room chairs we are markedly delighted to now offer game used Cowboys Stadium turf plaques. It is one of our hottest sellers right now and fits right along with where this industry (in this economy) is at right now...an affordable piece of history. The Cowboys in essence (as much as it pains me to say it) are the Yankees (..ironically two teams you could not pay me enough to root for), as are Notre Dame. All three franchises transcend sports and are as much a part of pop culture as they are a part of their respective leagues. We proudly have relationships with all three institutions and offer affordable historical pieces for each. Towards the end of last year I spoke about the Yankee Stadium dirt collages. We are still cranking through an impressive amount of dirt each day and it remains a top seller. The turf is an absolute must have item for any Cowboys fan...just as the dirt is for a Yankee fan. With all that in mind the Yankees are less than six weeks away from opening up their new stadium. There will be quite a bit to talk about on here relating to the demolition of the old stadium... as well as collectibles from the new stadium. As the weeks go on look for a lot more on stirring new product releases and a whole lot more as we count down to opening day.
This evening we have a public appearance with wrestling mega-star Jeff Hardy. Originally the signing was to be held at Last Licks Armonk but due to the ridiculously cold weather we have moved the 6:00 PM event to our corporate office. (I remember in high school waiting on line for Pink Floyd tickets in a blizzard..pre-dates Internet ticket sales..anyone remember the numbered wristbands?)
Anyway, there will be some video up shortly and a lot more to come in the next few days....
