August 3rd
I have been back from my mini-vacation for a little less than a week. It is usually hard though to get back in the swing of things with the blog so I took a few extra days away from this forum (and twitter). Now we are back and running at full capacity.
While last week was relatively quiet on the signings end, yesterday we had a massive public appearance (in the rain none the less) with wrestling superstars MVP and Mickie James at Last Licks Rye. I have said countless times that the wrestling fan base is better and more passionate than any sports teams'. Yesterday validated that point even further as fans endured torrential rain while waiting hours to meet their heroes. I have also said in the past that no one I have ever worked with endures themselves to the fans more than the wrestlers. Again this was evident yesterday. MVP and Mickie were as nice as could be. The customers all got real face time, a few words in and a photo with both. On a personal note both were great and so easy to work with. I am looking forward to both Raw tonight and doing more with the WWE in the near future.
There is not a whole lot going on with signings this week. Today through Friday will be more about preparing for another huge stretch of signings. The Yankees return home Thursday so there is sure to be some action on that front. In my next post I will kind of map out the next few weeks and start talking about some awesome new product we have. Also, I have posted a few cool photos from yesterday's WWE appearance so be sure to check them out on twitter.
Have a great day!
