While I am now totally immersed in the World Series it would be negligent not to discuss some other awesome signings we have coming up. Tomorrow Yankee legend Paul O'Neill is heading up to our office to add his name to our impressive multi-signed seatback project. Then on Saturday Cal Ripken is appearing at the Steiner Sports Store from 12:00 to 1:30. We have not had Cal at a store in years so it will undoubtebly be an awesome signing. That brings us to next Tuesday (November 3rd) when NHL superstar Alex Ovechkin will be appearing at Last Licks Scarsdale from 6:00 to 7:30. Alex is one of my all-time favorite players to sign with it as he always signs once or twice a season (when he is in town).
Check back tomorrow for a recap of the Paul O'Neill signing.
Enjoy the day.. Go Yankees (I am getting slightly more comfortable saying that...eventually I may even bring myself to put an exclamation point at the end of it..)

October 22nd
This has been a crazy week thus far. As you all know Saturday was our appearance at the Steiner Sports Store with the Hit King Pete Rose. It was, as suspected, an total success. Pete remains the champion of public signings as he dazzled the crowd for close to two hours.. sharing stories and taking photos with everyone. A Rose appearance is one signing where one can truly say there are no issues and all walk away ecstatic.
Then on Monday I flew down to Orlando for a quick private signing with Red Sox star Victor Martinez. While I was literally in Florida for less than fifteen hours it was quite a productive evening. Victor signed baseballs and bats for about an hour while we watched a disaster of the Phillies/Dodgers game (at least a disaster in the eyes of this Met fan). After finishing it was straight back to a routine I have not missed these past few months... packing up. It took about an two hours to bag and pack up the product (in preparation to ship the items back to New York). With an early morning flight only a few hours away I stayed up reading (The Road to Woodstock by Michael Lang.. awesome book by the man that put together the Woodstock Festival) and headed to the airport for my flight to JFK.
I was back in the office for less than two hours before departing right back out towards Long Island and the Steiner Sports Store (again). Monday evening we had an appearance with my boy Dwight Gooden. Doc's popularity never ceases to amaze me. Gooden signed at the mall less than two months ago and still drew a great crowd for Monday's event. I finally made it home a little before ten that night and am now entrenched in the remarkable possibility of a Yankees/Phillies World Series.
So there you have it.. as quick (and painless) an overview as possible of the past few days. We should be on a serious run over the next few days (and ensuing weeks) so be on the lookout for more posts, photos and videos. I am still regaining the hang of writing these things so hopefully as time goes on the posts get even better.
Enjoy the day! Go Yankees! (wow..second time in a week I wrote that.. it is getting a little easier to say it...)

October 16th
I hope you all enjoyed the Roy White video from yesterday. It's always cool to get the players perspective on our items and to be able to get a story or two out of them. I hope to do a lot more of that as we move forward in this forum. Anyway it has been quite busy these past few days.
Wednesday we were visited by none other than Rudy Ruettiger. This was actually my first time meeting Rudy (I must have been travelling last time he was at our office) and was really impressed with him. Before autographing some stellar individual pieces (including Notre Dame mini-helmets, full size helmets, footballs, Play Like A Champion posters and 8x10s/16x20s) as well as adding his name to some choice ND projects (which as you know we have been working on for awhile) Rudy gave an hour motivational speech to our company. Ruettiger spends most of his time travelling and speaking to large groups. He does a fantastic job of it and definitely moved us all. I will be posting some Rudy video shortly (courtesy of my boy Alex) so be sure to check it out.
Then yesterday I was completely immersed in Rangers hockey. Midday I headed towards midtown for a private signing with the legendary Adam Graves. While I am far from an avid hockey fan I have always enjoyed NHL signings. The players are, by far, the most down to earth of any and those situations always make for great conversations. Yesterday was no different as we banged through the signing in no time. Not only did Adam sign some great individual pieces (pucks and 8x10 photos) but we also started an amazing new Rangers project. There is sure to be more on this fantastic piece soon.
Then last night, after leaving Graves, I made my way uptown for our appearance at Last Licks with Henrik Lundqvist. Despite no cooperation from the weather it was still yet another awesome signing with the King. There was a large crowd on hand... all of whom braved crazy winds and rain for a little bit of face time with the Rangers' star goalie. Henrik did not disappoint as each and every person got a handshake, an autograph and a photo with.
Tomorrow is our appearance at the Steiner Sports Store (Roosevelt Field Mall 1:00-12:30) with Pete Rose. We have not had Pete sign in well over two years so it is sure to be quite an event. On a personal note: Rose is one of my all time favorite people to work with so I am really excited for this one. Hope to see you there!

October 12th
Here we are, almost two months to the day, with the triumphant return of "The Blog".
Over the past sixty or so days I racked up a few hundred frequent flyer miles, took two trips to Boston, witnessed history as Derek Jeter became the all-time Yankees hit leader and handled a couple thousand dirty old seatbacks (plus had over a a dozen appearances and a several random private signings). With the rebirth of this format I am not going to go into detail on everything that had happened from August until now. I would rather move forward as we have exciting things happening basically every day from now until Christmas. I also plan on getting heavily back into twitter so will be posting photos regularly and running contests. We will also be using a lot more video on here... so start checking back daily as there are sure to be daily posts if not multiple ones.
In the next week alone we have signings with Rudy Ruettiger and Adam Graves as well as appearances with Henrik Lundqvist and Pete Rose. All of this is occurring amidst the euphoric frenzy surrounding this current Yankee run... so with a four day break in between playoff rounds there is sure to be some news on the Yankee signing front as well.
Have a great holiday!
