In my haste to watch the end of the Duke game I neglected to talk about the highlight of the day. Over the years I have seen a variety of unique items brought to a public appearance to be signed. Nothing I have witnessed prepared me for what I saw today. Reggie and I both were shocked. A customer came up with a few balls to sign and then lifted his arm. His arm was covered in a cool Yankees tattoo. He then asked Reggie to sign his arm directly under his existing tattoo. The fan was going to go straight from the appearance to get the signature tatooed onto his arm. Mr. October oblidged and signed the guys's arm in a thick blue marker.
It was pretty awesome...the only thing that would have made it cooler would have been four or five inscriptions under the signature.
